I used to use Radiate all the time, with my own account & everything, but the app is now completely unusable. I’m stuck at a sign-up screen that no longer has email as a log-in option, which is absolutely ridiculous. I can no longer log into my account because it now only allows accounts if they’re connected to a Google, Facebook, or Apple account. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever why Radiate needs to be connected to or have access to those accounts. None. Not a single one. Just let me use email again!!! I don’t want all my separate FB, Google, Apple, etc. accounts connected for both security & privacy reasons - therefore I can no longer use this app despite having my own account & login. So, so stupid, I don’t even know where to begin. I mean honestly, good god.

Met many friends

The app is great for finding shows and the event chats offer a lot of insight. However it’s really lame it makes you pay $7 a week to be able to send private messages.

I’m not a fan of having to create a new account when the current one logs off.

Amazing app for EDM lovers, you can find tickets for events when people can no longer attend so it can be pretty clutch, plus many other cool features 👌🏽

I’ve been on Radiate for years and love the app but every time I try to comment on posts or make one of my own it’s not being seen from other accounts. I’ve had friends check the same posts that I’ve commented on to buy tickets and my comments aren’t showing up. This just happened a few days ago. I’ve even made another account and it still doesn’t work. Have not heard back from Radiate either on the app or IG

The app was working fine until the beginning of the year. Now none of my messages are going up in any chats. I’ve tried to make new accounts but nothing seems to be working.

I want to start this review and say that I love this app! It’s very fun to use and the features are great for meeting people. My issue with giving it a higher rating is because I can’t access my old account! I had made an account over a year ago and I deleted the app to make space but as soon at I redownloaded it afterwards, it prompted me to login with my apple or google and make a new account. When I made my first account it had me just login with a username. Please fix this issue because there are many people that have this issues right now and have not been able to get into their old accounts! THANK YOU

I love this app. You get to connect with party people like yourself, make connections and meet at the party. I love meeting new people!! Its awesome!!

It’s an amazing app to find raves and meet people

the app is great only if it wasn’t for the thirsty bois that think is a dating app, ruining it.. even when you specify the post is directly towards girls, there is always a dog with all the audacity, is even more disturbing when is man over 30 commenting on posts made by girls 18-21.. can you make it more of a safe space maybe?

So far this is the best app for rave socials.

My main motivation for using Radiate is to find tickets for festivals/shows. I think the vouch option is helpful. I do find the location feature interesting and a little overwhelming to navigate. Overall, I recommend the app! Suggestion: I think it would be beneficial to create a normal login system (email & password). Having to go through another company to create an account & being the only way to login is limiting and can make logging back in challenging. Thank you to the Radiate team for helping me get back into my account!

Update: developer fixed the bug and I have been using the app for two weeks now without issues. See title. When creating an account I get stuck at the “find your friends on radiate” page. Clicking Continue does nothing.

I love that there has never been ads even to this day! Ive been using it since 2017. The app keep getting better and better throughout the years.

This is a beautiful app for connecting the EDM/Rave community across different regions and events. The map tool is a seriously impressive UI that I utilize frequently, as well as the regular search for a region by dates, as I frequently spontaneously travel. Two recommendations- many events seem to be commercial, it would be really neat to see the posting of more underground events via scraping from Instagram. secondly, there is a SERIOUS issue with the initial landing page essentially being porn 90% of the the time. The accounts posting their bodies to promote their OF or bump their posts should not be rewarded for it. The sexualization of women is not something we should heavily associate the culture with, especially on an app like Radiate that has such a powerful place in the digital rave world.

This is one of the best festival meeting people connection apps I love it been a solid member since day one. This is a great way to meet new people and find things to do and it’s growing and I love it.

I started making my account but when I got to the add friends part I clicked do later but now when I click continue nothings happening and I haven’t even actually got into the app yet.

I absolutely love this app!! Ever since I’ve downloaded it I’ve been interacting with many different people, groups and just having an amazing time at events.. BUT…. The only negative that really makes me upset about this, is that if you have the IOS 18 update you aren’t able to send personal stickers. Before the update I could… this is the only reason why I regret updating my phone.. PLEASE ALLOW US TO SEND STICKERS AGAIN😭😭🙏🙏🙏

Rad is a real person that actually responds to his clients. Lots of rave bae’s and interesting content. Love this app.

Great app to meet friends

The whole point of connecting with strangers is to be able to communicate. but i can’t go ten seconds without the app freezing in the messages section. have to force quit and restart the process OVER AND OVER. I use it to promote tickets and I need to be able to communicate with potential buyers

It’s Sunday 11/17 and my app isn’t working properly. Pictures aren’t loading and I’ve tried resetting and deleting the app but no changes. Even updated my iPhone as well but still nothing

No media or images. App support link goes to a 404.

I think I found similar issue form the comments here. I came back from China one month ago, and I think no one can see my message anymore. Please help!

Love the app in every way BUT can you PLEASE make is so we can silence event chats? I want to have my notifications on if I’m messaging someone but not get notifications when people are talking in the chat 😭

Great place for buying tickets or finding friends and events. Really buggy UI, messages disappear, and I can’t open any links or Instagram handles in app. The new map feature keeps getting pushed and it’s super useless i wish we could hide that tab

I came back from Vietnam to the US and my messages are being omitted and I’m not getting any notifications. I message the rhino and no response still.

I really like the concept of this app (finding platonic friends for raves, etc.), and I’m not aware of any competitors to this app, so I’m giving it four stars. I’m taking away one star and writing this review (in the hopes it reaches the developers) for the following reasons: 1. There’s a lot of gatekeeping of music events that get posted to the app that result in only very mainstream, very straight-focused events being posted. The process for adding an event is complicated. You’ve got about a 1% chance of getting an event added (even if it’s legit and locally popular or popular within communities, ie, the gay community) to this app that isn’t already populated in the app, and frankly no one cares to go to the effort to get the event added … so it’s just not going to get added. I have read that the app scrapes events from EDM Train, which is very, very mainstream. If Radiate is going to continue to scrape events, they should also be scraping from other major or significant local music listing platforms like Resident Advisor, Dice, Funqtion (for NYC), etc. And frankly, they should just let people easily add events—not sure why they care to gatekeep. The gatekeeping/mainstreamism tends to result in only events marketed to an early 20s crowd getting posted—but there are lots of other rave events targeted to an older crowd that would be great to have listed on this app. 2. The UI is cluttered and confusing to navigate. There’s a lot of noise, and it’s hard to find stuff. I recommend simplifying/cleaning up the UI to make it more intuitive. 3. It seems like the app only works in the US. I frequently go to raves abroad, and this app would be frankly much more helpful for international raves (where I don’t know anyone/don’t have friends). I don’t see any reason why this app needs to be limited to the United States—eliminating some of the gatekeeping that is built into this app (allowing more user content generation) would easily make it usable internationally without the developers having to do a bunch of work to add events/venues for international markets. Thanks for developing this app! All feedback is meant to be constructive in the hopes that it will lead to improvements. :)

It’s like Twitter and Tinder had a baby that ended up being a Raver! Such a good app with a nice UX. Significantly under-hyped.

My friend introduced me to this app. I had never been to a rave and not listened too much music at all at this point mainly just Skrillex if that even counts getting on this app at first felt overwhelming in a way for not knowing anything about the lifestyle at all, but I slowly saw that almost every human being I interacted with was amazing the only ones that caused me. Any issues with this app were bots/people making fake accounts to try to scam you into buying tickets so if you’re smart about it and stay away from that, this is probably in my opinion the best app to find festivals, lifelong friends people to spend time with who have similar interests and just want to make a great life for everyone so if you’re considering this app, I promise you won’t regret it. It gives you times dates and location for many events and will be the key one of the keys to giving you a great memorable time hope to find, you at a rave or festival and share a wonderful night ‼️‼️ This is a honest opinion after using the app for Im going to guess half a year now no one contacted me I just am that mannn right now ifykyk and wanted to give the credit where it’s due to the life I’m living as honestley this app has made it way better I really could keep going on but see for yourself how fast a application on a telephone can change the environment your in\get you out of your comfort zone to meet better people and see a life you can learn about good luck and happy wooking🗿🥸PLURR (Peace Love Unity Respect Responsibility) but please always remember safety first and if that Uber/Taxi is $100/300 pay it figure it out plead with them to cancel and take your cash DUI’s are easy to get even when you’ve gone forever without getting caught and getting caught isn’t even the scariest thing did you know that? The scariest thing about drinking and driving is thinking you’re doing nothing wrong you think it’s okay when honestly the moment that key turns you have now put yourself your passengers and countless other prodigious people who want no part in this act and as they are driving they don’t know it but they have a possibility of passing you and it may not end well there were about 11,000 people who passed away last year because of drunk driving and if you look at statistics a lot of them are passengers so please take the Uber or taxi you and your friends may make it this time but why chance that it may be the last💜

I was unable to expand the area and also was unable to get the security to block users that requested “connects” or selling “connects”. It also kept crashing.

Definitely a great app from what I’ve seen so far, but unfortunately I can’t get too far down the feed before it starts glitching and then force closes. Hopefully this issue can be fixed, I will be happy to update my review if so!!

I was unexpectedly banned from the app without being given any reason. I’ve reached out to customer support but still haven’t received a response. Additionally, this app is full of scammers, so be cautious! I suspect the scammers reported me after I exposed them. Please address these issues and fix the app.

Why does it keep saying i’m sending a lot of messages when I only sent message to 4 people

my friend had her information leaked all over the app along with strangers posting information leaked in the app to other platforms because someone falsely accused her of scamming and the creator was sympathizing with the doxxers ! this app promotes negativity and creates a space for mob mentality and puts people in danger !

Everyone is so friendly and it actually feels like it’s ran by somebody with a soul and heart unlike everything else. Love you rad

Have been having trouble sending messages into groups and have not been able to receive any support from the support team for a week. They promised 24-48 hours and can not commit.
